Horse Boarding Facilities
Creating a serene and thriving environment where your horse can flourish naturally.
Professional Horse Boarding
At BrighterDaze we practice natural horsemanship. We believe that horses are at their happiest and healthiest when they are allowed to interact as a herd in a natural environment. This is why we pasture all of our horses together in our 40-acre pasture.
The pasture is partially wooded with a creek running through it. There are both man-made and natural shelters for the horses to utilize and several automated watering systems available for them to use. The horses are given unlimited pasture time day and night. Too much time in a stall can cause a horse to develop digestive, skeletal, respiratory, and hoof issues. To prevent these issues we keep horses outside where they can get fresh air, plenty of exercise, and a broad variety of natural nutrients.
BrighterDaze Farm is the perfect place to be if you want to saddle up and ride all day or if you just want to swing by and have a leisurely ride before dinner. We have a plethora of trails, for beginners and advanced riders, on 400 acres of land that meander through beautiful woods, ravines, and fields. Stall boarding includes a stall, hay, bedding, grain and access to all the barn amenities.
Our History
BrighterDaze Farm, a family-owned horse farm in Newark, IL, began as a breeding facility for Rocky Mountain Horses. For ten years, we bred, trained, and sold these beautiful horses to trail riders, using natural horsemanship techniques inspired by the Lakota people-we don't "break" horses, we teach them. Today, we share our farm with horse lovers and anyone seeking a stunning setting for their celebrations.
